The election doesn’t matter
A rant in D minor about what actually matters for your place in the future of America
More AI “art,” groan.
How many times have you heard this year, “this is the most important election in the history of the Universe?” Far more is at stake than when the Xylorgians defeated the Croxtatians in the epic election battle of 3580 that precipitated the 500 year intergalactic war. Guess what it’s total bullshit, what’s more we can know it’s total bullshit. How? Because the U.S. imperium has been running on autopilot for over 2 years while Genocide Joe eats ice cream in a daze and shortly thereafter shits his pants. And no the giant orange obfuscator isn’t going to save us. “The debate,” showed us two craven barely sentient elderly men with poor track records slobbering all over themselves over which frail old bastard was tougher, and could kiss up to the maniacs in Israel more. In other words both senile old bastards can’t wait to get us into WWIII. And even if they didn’t, there is no stopping the deep state and it’s media propagandists who have made it clear WWIII with nukes is “on the table.” And that’s not to mention the wars against Russia and China that the establishment isn’t even subtly clamoring for on “the nightly news.”
So, what matters is ignoring this staged spectacle and getting ready for you and yours to survive WWIII. You think inflation is bad now, wait until the first dozen giant cargo ships are laying at the bottom of the sea, and insurance for shipping goes up 8 fold, bringing the global supply chain to a screeching halt. Wait until gas is 8 dollars a gallon and rationed and only available 3 days a week. Wait until your commute in person office job is axed under survival conditions.
Do you have any idea how you would survive when your refrigerator is empty and the shelves are bare at your local store? Ignore the small stuff, were you thinking of getting the Galaxy Iphone S50 Max, now with 37 cameras, and “only” 1800 dollars that folds up like an origami crane? I’d pass on that now and look into some bare land in a remote rural area a fishing rod, a bugout bag, a sleeping bag, and a good tent for not much more money. Even if you have some food stored, do you really want to be in an urban area, when the food stamps are cut off, and we are losing an unpopular war? Do you think a couple of weeks worth of food stashed in your closet is going to get you through? Hardly! Here are some things to think about having on hand in case shit gets ugly fast.
Some rural land, even if it’s just half an acre of bare undeveloped land where you can pitch a tent. Better would be moving out of the city altogether and setting up a non grid dependent living situation. But if that isn’t practical at least look into some rural bare land an hours drive or so from your current living situation.
Some seeds for a garden, do you think WWIII is going to be over in months rather than years? Does victory garden ring a bell? Though considering this time we are the bad guys, it might better be called a defeat garden.
Dry storable food. I’d pass on the Alex Jones survival food and go straight to the old school beans and rice, which are cheap, will store for years, and have all your essential amino acids. Seal them up in 5 gallon plastic sealable, rodent proof plastic buckets and you have the start of a survival cache.
Water, not just a little bit, but like 100 gallons, and some sort of water filter for when that runs out.
Salt, people often forget this, but it is an essential nutrient that civil wars have been fought over, and is likely to be a trade item if times get really rough. Ten pounds of salt is going to be more valuable than 10 lbs of silver if the fecal matter crosses the whirling blades.
A good high end hunting knife, rope, a good axe, and a good shovel. Much important than an AR-15 IMO. With a good knife and a few other tools you can do everything from build a shelter to dig a latrine, to gut a fish.
Some way to start a fire, that you know how to actually use and that will last for years. I’d lean more towards waterproof matches than a flint and steel that is difficult to use.

Now we are getting towards less essential items that would still be nice to have.
7. TP, nuff said.
8. A solar powered or wind up short wave radio. Knowing if the whole world is blown up or just your region will be important to know for long term planning.
9. If you do wind up with some kind of cabin and it’s in a cold area make sure it has a woodstove and at least enough wood stored up for the winter.
10. A compass and topo maps of wherever you bugout to.
11. Some kind of basic survival gun if you aren’t a pacifist, one of those .22 on top, 20 gauge shotgun on the bottom fold up survival guns gives you a lot of options for hunting and self defense.
12. Books, a notebook and pens, musical instruments, booze and oil lamps, candles, or led lights with a solar recharger. Because you will go insane if you are just in your head all time worrying about how long you are going to make it.
Sobering, eh? And yet way more important than whether Biden is going to replaced on the ticket, and other other daily churn of media the establishment expects us to take seriously. Let me know what you think below, do you think the election is actually important? Are you prepping?
