This is really helpful and makes me feel less alone. I appreciate you and your writing.

I feel drained so much of the time lately and I'm never quite sure why.

Cool, thanks.

I feel the same and my intuition is it's metaphysical/psychic, I suppose I should have developed that aspect more in the essay, but yeah I know the feeling of exhaustion you are talking about. I truly think it's because we are in liminal state between the old free America, and whatever comes next, depending on which side wins. And by side I mean more than just a political side, but side as in evil v.s. good.

That makes sense. Honestly, there are so many reasons to feel this way that it doesn't require much explanation to me.

Are we all sicker because of spike proteins? Seems that way.

Has the poisoning of our food, air, and water and the depletion of its natural nutrition and healthfulness reached a critical level, such that we are simultaneously obese and malnourished, which is pretty f*ed up btw? It's worth considering.

Are we under constant psychic pressure because of the wars/genocidal acts which have the potential for worldwide escalation? I bet we are.

Does knowing that the governments of the west are deliberately facilitating the destruction of our people, culture, and entire civilization wear a fellow down? I'm no magic eight ball but that could be a part of it.

I just wish that I still believed in an 'old free America'. I just see the last two hundred and fifty years as building a progressive squeezing mechanism. This isn't new or sudden. Even at 250 years to turn an enormous virgin paradise and a free manly people into a toxic nanny state full of girlbois is awfully fast.

I think part of that feeling affects those of us who care. We aren’t dissuaded by bread and circus, so we are much more aware of the criminal offense being perpetrated against those of us who cherish freedom. Bet if you asked most of us here about some ball game score, you’d get a blank stare. Same as anything involving entertainment. Or “mainstream” news. The distraction only works on some. Unfortunately it’s most. And yeah, Florida’s waterfront will make you happy. Got two houses up river right now for sale, both around 650-700. Taxes about 5 k. My former waterfront home on Lake Ontario is now taxed at 13000. lol. For nothing. And it’s frozen half the time.

I've never understood people who can make money and spend it freely, lol.

Never saw the point of working hard to make money, then saving it for someday. Someday never comes, to quote John Fogarty.

Yet somehow you made bucketloads of money or you wouldn't have over a million dollars worth of property.

I think you actually missed my point, it wasn't about savings, it was about making money at all in an evil society, I honestly just can't be bothered, I hate the whole mindset.

I started storing dried food and tins in 2021. A small river runs through the village which would take care of water...though in Scotland, water availability is never a problem! Sadly we don't have the weapons option though :). And yes, agreed on the outdoors tonic. Heading for the nearby hills was a sanity saver for me in those couple of years under the rule of Empress Nicola Sturgeon and her DAILY TV briefings on tests and "stubbornly high infection rates" in a healthy population... Jeez. I hope I never let the anger become diluted and lose focus.

One way to blow away the malise would be to move to a beach town in Florida...

Seems to be working for me!

Papa Desantis has our back! Let's play beach volleyball!

Im doing some work here in the belly of the beast before establishing my commune in NZ on my 300 acres.

The elite psychos who run the show might not be able to fool all of the people all of the time, but unfortunately can fool enough of the people enough of the time get their way.

Good article by the way; succinct and to the point.

PS: if you can, share a bit of land with like-minded people and learn how to grow your own food.

Your main point about "decline, malaise, and a sense of uneasiness." is important. It's the slow-boiled frog syndrome. And the fact that it's worse somewhere else in the world should not undermine our right/duty/need to protest at how we experience our lives now; wherever we live.

I'm not selling anything but you might like my poem "Dictator's Blues" if you've not already listened to it (I do an acceptable Russian accent - {no offence to Russians}): https://joshuabondpoetry.substack.com/publish/posts/detail/141792982?referrer=%2Fpublish%2Fposts

Near the end of his life Leonard Cohen famously stated/predicted - Do You Want It Darker!

Well in my opinion the Claremont Institute with which the mouldy Mencius is associated is one of the leading edge vehicles of the darkness that is enshrouding the world.

So too with the Manhattan Institute and of course The Heritage (lies, lies and more lies) Foundation.

Together with 70 or more other outfits they have put together a project which will in no uncertain terms finish off both civilization and human kind.

The speakers listed here are also closely associated with this darkening project.
